Belgium warns EU plan to use frozen Russian assets risks harming Ukraine peace talks

Belgian PM De Wever warned the EU that using €140bn in frozen Russian assets to fund Ukraine could undermine prospects for a future peace deal, FT reports. EU leaders failed to win Belgium’s backing, the Commission will propose revised legal text.
