2025-11-03 20:28:00

Palantir will report their earnings after the close. The expectations are for

  • EPS $0.17 up from $0.10 last year (70% increase)
  • Revenues $1.09 billion up from 725.52 million last year (50.24% increase).

In other details

  • Government revenues are expected at $602.5 million a gain of 47.6% from a year ago
  • Commercial revenue $493.7 million, a gain of 55.6% from a year ago

Guidance:

  • Palantir previously guided for Q3 revenue to be between $1.083 billion and $1.087 billion and adjusted operating income between $493 million and $497 million.

  • Analyst estimates ($1.09B) are actually slightly above the high end of management’s prior guidance, setting a very high bar for the company. Any disappointment in the Q3 numbers or a conservative outlook for Q4 will likely lead to selling pressure.

The stock trades at extremely elevated valuation multiples (e.g., Forward P/E over 200x), far exceeding industry averages.

As a result of its high valuation, the company likely needs to deliver a significant beat (not just meet expectations) and provide an exceptionally strong forward outlook to see a major jump in the share price.

The price of Palantir is up $5.86 or 2.92% at $206.30 today. A positive day-to-day would be a new record high.

The price closed at a new record level last Monday (October 27.). The price has been up 7 of the last 8 trading days, taking the price up from a closing level on October 26 of $175.49, to the current level of $206.30. That is a gain of 17.56%.

Since the low of $142.34 back on August 20, the price has moved up 45.03%. The 38.2% retracement of that move comes in at $185.24. The 50% comes in at $177.05. Both those levels would be targets on selling. The high price from August reached $189.46. That is the closest support target on a move lower.
