Pantera, Ondo launch $250M fund to drive RWA tokenization

Ondo Finance and Pantera Capital have launched a $250 million fund to speed up investments in tokenized real-world property (RWAs), Axios reported on July 3.

In response to the report, the fund, named Ondo Catalyst, will spend money on fairness stakes and tokens of initiatives creating tokenized variations of conventional monetary property.

Ian De Bode, chief technique officer at Ondo, instructed the newswire that the tokenization market is witnessing an “arms race” as exchanges and protocols broaden into tokenized shares and exchange-traded fund choices.

Latest initiatives mirror this momentum. Robinhood launched a layer-2 blockchain to allow European purchasers to commerce tokenized US shares and ETFs.

In Might, Kraken introduced plans to supply tokenized US inventory buying and selling to buyers exterior america, whereas Coinbase is reportedly pursuing regulatory approval to offer tokenized equities.
