On the spot messaging app Telegram has signed a cope with Elon Musk’s xAI to combine the Grok AI service throughout the app.
Telegram founder Pavel Durov, revealed on X, that the 2 firms agreed to a 1-year partnership that may see Telegram obtain $300 million in money and fairness from xAI, along with 50% of income from xAI subscriptions offered through Telegram.
“Collectively, we win!” Durov wrote.
The deal comes as Telegram appears to lift $1.5 billion through a bond providing that’s being backed by the likes of BlackRock, Mubadala, and Citadel. The proceeds of the increase can be used to repurchase debt from Telegram’s earlier bond issuance in 2021.
The messaging large has 1 billion prospects and reported a $540 million revenue on $1.4 billion in income in 2024.
The TON token, the native token of the TON Community that was developed by Telegram, is now up by 18.5% over the previous 24 hours after beginning to surge two hours earlier than the announcement was made.
The transfer continued after the announcement, rising from $3.28 to $3.55.
