In two days it’s going to be already two weeks since the US-Iran war started, and it’s hard to see a quick end to it at this point. Markets have been the best tool to change Trump’s policies as we’ve seen time and time again last year with tariffs.
We saw a partial fold from Trump on Monday when oil prices jumped to triple digit levels and stock markets fell into new weekly lows, but it wasn’t enough to end the conflict.
The optimism has already faded and who knows, maybe another run to triple digit oil prices and new lows in stock markets will finally force Trump to de-escalate for good.
